Finding the Best Swim Suit for You!!!

Finding the right swim suit takes me forever! Every summer I grab at least 10 suits into the fitting room and leave only liking one. Well I have find the reason why! I haven't been choosing the right suits to flatter my body type.

Women shorter then 5'4 like myself, need swimsuits that elongate their body. To elongate our frame a scooped bottom and bra top is recommended. For those women who want to conceal a large bottom, a retro printed suit would do the trick. To slim a full figure super stretch fabrics provide total body slimming. The best suits for body slimming can be found at everythingbutwater.com. Suits with shirring also hide the tummy and ultimate slimming affects. To show off a curvy figure, you can use a obi belt cinched at the waist. If your looking to support a big bust, always shop for big straps, and a supportive underwire. I hope these tips and tricks have helped. Now get out to the beach and show off your suits!!!

Summer's Best Shapewear!!!

Hey ladies it's summer and everyone needs a great bra for all those slinky dresses and tops we love to wear. For a tight fitted dress a seamless bra is the solution. One made of foam, that is close to your skin tone looks great under tight fitting garments. For backless items, the adhesive bra works great. Celebrities such as Fergie live by this bra, as she loves dresses with backless cut-outs. Halter top's go great with the halter bra and the opaque bodysuit is great for sheer dresses that leave little to the imagination. For the ever so popular one shoulder dress, their is the convertible bra which can also be converted into a strapless, or a halter bra. For dresses with plunging necklines, there is the plunging bra which has a deep, wide v-shape and a center band that sits low on the rib cage. This bra is a favorite with actresses such as Zoe Saldana. The razorback tank is very popular this summer, so the razorback bra is also necessary which makes an X shape across your back. Last but not least the strapless bra is a must in any women's closet. The strapless should have wide sidebands and no straps for your strapless tops and dresses. Regardless of which bra you choose, just make sure your supported and properly proportioned.

Four Hot Color Combos for the month of July!!!

It's hott this summer... and it's a good time to mix and match your favorite hues. Red, Orange, Yellow, and Turquoise are four popular colors this summer, but can be tricky to match with other colors. Red is a great color to pair with plum, white, gray, and navy. If you choose to wear gray as the base piece, use red as the accent. Orange pairs well with tan, olive, brown, and also navy. To spice up a pair of denim shorts and white tank, add some flair with a orange necklace, and orange gladiators. Due to yellow being such a bright color, compliment it with hues such as white, khaki, gray, and navy. A white shirt dress, accented with a yellow belt, and yellow clutch would be great for a day out on the town. The most popular color of the summer is turquoise which can be paired with navy, brown, white and gray. To take a turquoise dress up a notch add silver accessories and navy shoes.
If you want to find what shade is for you grab three or more tops in the same color family and hold them up to your face by a mirror in natural light. One of the hues will stand out as a winner, bringing out the natural glow of your skin. Overall, to find your best colors this summer follow the tips I've given you about hues and how to mix and match!

The Industry has gone Fashionably GREEN!!!

Have you began to buy planet-friendly items? Well I have, and so have many readers of In-Style. After reading the article "Fashionably Green" in the April issue of InStyle I found some great Eco finds. For example a pair of aviators made by Eco-optics which are made out of 100% recycled materials, for only $144.To create your ultimate Eco outfit H&M just created a new Garden Collection which features flirty floral-inspired dresses, tunics, shorts and jackets. A simple Blush rose tank costs only $18, and a pair of linen shorts costs roughly $30. H&M uses organic cotton and linen with recycled polyester to create its romantic new line. The most exciting find was the pair of sassy sandals made out of discarded tire soles on the bottom, called walkabouts! Walkabouts can be found on shopgreenbees.com along with estaphania sandals. To finish off your Eco inspired outfit Stella McCartney offers a Falabella bag made out of polymer fiber which mimics the supple feel of suede. Whether you purchase a Eco-friendly tank top or a Eco-friendly bag, you will be saving the planet through shopping!

The Little White Dress.. and how to accessorize!!!

This summer everyone is rocking white, especially celebs. The little white dress has taken over this summer, but you must know how to accessorize. A solid white base leaves a lot of room to accessorize, so don't go overboard ladies.

In regards to jewelry, bangles, and long necklaces are great stylish centerpieces that add texture to an ensemble. Metallic accents such as silver and gold are vibrant, and luxurious against any white canvas.

For casual looks, solid or printed scarfs are great when wrapped effortlessly around your neck. Also strive for neutral hues to give crisp whites a a casual natural appeal.

If your one for color, go BOLD with a bright clutch, belt, or great pair of shoes. A clutch will add a playful element to your outfit, and will be small and compact. A belt will zone in on your smallest part (your waist), and ad a burst of color to your outfit.

Last but not least, the black jacket is the best accessory to lend a chic contrast to a look. Be careful, when combining styles but anything from a blazer to a motorcycle jacket can can add sophistication to a little white dress.
